Protip from Dusty: Welcome to my hometown! I requested Springfield be today's CCIARAT because I happen to know there's a cool car jackpot hiding somewhere within the city limits. What do I mean by "jackpot?" I mean about ten cars in a single location that each on their own would merit a "look what I found" post. Additionally Springfield is packed with used car lots. I mean PACKED! Most have at least a few interesting cars in them. We've got some factory dealerships as well which may (depending on when the street view car went by) have some interesting new cars. Find those lots and you might find a Raptor, ST, Camaro, Corvette, or Genesis coupe. Happy hunting!

I recognize that Neon! And there are a ton of awesome ornate historic buildings in the city. Get out of the south end and don't give up. There's a major jackpot hiding in the city somewhere, along with many slightly smaller but still extremely impressive finds (protip: there's like a hundred streetcorner used car lots in the city. Many of them have at least one interesting car on hand)

Ok, so annoyingly they updated the street view image over the weekend and the update has fewer goodies at my secret location. Which isn't to say there's nothing there this time.

Mercedes SL, Range Rover, Lincoln MKZ, two Land Rover Discoveries, another Mercedes (black), a Jaaaaaaaaag (green), and a Bentley. All in one shot. Plus the mystery red car behind the Land Rover and whatever that is hiding in the garage bay. And just think, when I checked last Friday the stash here was even better.

Edit: Red car is a BMW, I also missed a Z4 roadster in the left front corner of the lot. Also there's something old and cool looking between the red BMW and the green Jag but I can't make it out because of the trees.

Seriously though, it's a shop called J.E. Robison Service. Awesome place run by an awesome guy named John Robison. He specializes in high end imports and exotics. Jags, BMWs, Porsches, Land Rovers, Rollers, and Bentleys are his bread and butter. I can't remember the last time I went by during business hours and didn't see at least one Rover and a Rolls/Bentley. When I was little (younger than 10) I begged mom to take me there to see the cars pretty much every week. John was the nicest guy in the world, he gave me a shirt and let me sit in cars like a Ferrari 308, Aston Martin Virage, Mercedes 500 limo (former diplomat's car, supposedly came from China during the Mao era), Bentley Continental, etc. During an open house he held I got a ride in a C4 ZR-1 and a 911 Carrera 4, which blew my tiny little mind. A couple years later we were both diagnosed with Asperger's at almost the exact same time.
